This Privacy Policy describes how Pinpoint ("Pinpoint," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pinpoint mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the app needs to function:

• Account information — your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
• Protocol data you enter — vials, stacks, doses, injection logs, body-site rotation, and related notes.
• Health & wellness data — biometrics, nutrition entries, and bloodwork values you choose to log, and, with your permission, data from your device's health platform (such as steps and active energy).
• Media you add — photos you capture (for example, food or label photos) and any images you attach to entries.
• Device & usage data — basic diagnostic and performance information used to keep the app stable and secure.

2. How we use your information

• To provide core features: inventory, reconstitution math, scheduling, logging, and estimated plasma-level and trend calculations.
• To sync your data across your devices and back it up securely.
• To power the Research Assistant, which answers only from the app's own catalog and documentation.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not serve advertising or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use your protocol or health data to train third-party models.

4. Health data

Health and protocol data is sensitive. Where your device offers a health platform (such as Apple Health), Pinpoint reads and writes only the data types you explicitly authorize, and you can revoke that access at any time in your device settings. Estimated and derived values shown in the app are for context only and are not medical advice.

5. How your information is shared

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as our secure cloud database and authentication providers), and only to the extent needed to provide the Service. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data retention & your choices

• Access & export — you can view and export your data from within the app.
• Deletion — you can delete individual entries or your entire account at any time; deleting your account removes your associated data from our active systems.
• Permissions — camera, notifications, and health-data access are all opt-in and can be changed in your device settings.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.

8. Children's privacy

Pinpoint is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
